Empowering Women Through Cycle Awareness & Health Education

Our Mission

Girlie Foundation is a nonprofit organization providing accessible, science-based menstrual and hormonal health education through free digital tools, community workshops, and school and workplace pilot programs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most girls are only taught about their period — not their full menstrual cycle.

The menstrual cycle has four distinct phases: menstrual, follicular, ovulation, and luteal.

Each phase has a unique hormonal pattern that can influence mood, cognition, appetite, sleep, athletic performance, sociability, and nutritional needs.

Without an understanding of these natural changes, women experience confusion, burnout, and unnecessary self-blame.

The Global Education Gap

4.09 Billion Women

Globally, fewer than 4 in 10 schools (approximately 39%) provide menstrual health education.

As a result, more than 2 billion women lack access to consistent, science-based education about their menstrual cycle and hormonal health.

Without education, women are left to navigate their health without the tools to understand it.
